Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Some Level III or IV NICU experience required. Ventilator equipment requirement: Servo-U.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience preferred. Experience with Trilogy 202, Trilogy EV300, Optiflow, NAVA (on Servo-U), IPV, Subambient/Nitrogen, and Hamilton G5 preferred.
Unit Details: Uses V60, HFOV 3100 A/B, SiPAP, Ikaria Nitric Oxide, and IPV/Metaneb. Infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Cares for neonatal to adult patients with congenital or acquired heart disease, heart failure, heart transplants, lung transplants, VAD/ECMO, trach/vent dependency, and pre-op and post-op care. Uses Epic.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required: Can be placed on-call. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Floating to General Floors, ED, NICU, PICU, and Pulmonary.
14 days maximum time off
2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
