Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Private Duty Nursing (Allendale, NJ)
Location: Allendale, NJ (07401)
Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (Home & School)
Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for a child who depends on skilled clinical support. Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for an 11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor in Allendale, NJ .

Available Shifts
Coverage Needed:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
About the Case
11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor
Requires G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
Suctioning support throughout the day at home and school
Cough assist treatments
Wheelchair dependent
Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
Consistent daytime schedule
Supportive and engaged family
What You'll Do
Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
Administer and monitor G-tube feedings
Perform suctioning and airway management as needed
Administer cough assist therapy and monitor respiratory status
Assess for changes in condition and communicate updates appropriately
Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
Collaborate with the family, school personnel, physicians, and Affirmed Home Care clinical team to ensure continuity of care
Complete accurate clinical documentation
Pay Rate
RN: $50/hr
What You Bring
Active New Jersey RN License
Preferred experience with G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist, and medically complex pediatric patients
Current BLS Certification
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license preferred
Physical exam within 12 months
PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
