Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. **Hours:** Our PACU team enjoys a quality work-life balance. This full-time position will work 10-hour shifts and 80 hours bi-weekly. Key Responsibilities:* In this role, you get the opportunity to participate in daily planning via patient rounds. You'll work as part of the interdisciplinary team for the plan of care for our patients.* The PACU Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the recovery room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe after surgery.* The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role and quality improvement efforts.Required Qualifications:* BSN degree or in process* Ohio RN License* One year experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or ICU* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtained within one year of hirePreferred Qualifications:* Pediatric experienceCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
