Job description
Make a difference in the lives of children as a Speech Language Pathologist in a supportive educational environment near West Bend, WI. This contract opportunity welcomes both experienced clinicians and recent graduates (CFY), including those interested in teletherapy, to deliver impactful services to students for the upcoming school year.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active SLP License issued by the state of Wisconsin
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to earn CCCs
Strong collaborative and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in school settings or pediatrics is valued, but not required
Openness to working onsite or via teletherapy platforms as needed
Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
New graduates (Clinical Fellowship Year) are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
Provide speech and language therapy services in compliance with IEP/504 plans
Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other special education staff to foster student growth
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
Adapt therapy approaches for a range of ages and ability levels
