Job description
A respected public school near Silver Spring, MD is seeking an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite therapy services to students. Key Qualifications:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for at least one year
Active and valid professional license
A minimum of 10 hours of weekly availability
At least one year of IEP drafting and implementation experience
Skills in supporting pediatric populations, SLP-CFY, and school-based caseloads
Desired Attributes: Proactive, motivated, and passionate about positively influencing students' progress
Strong communicator who excels in teamwork with interdisciplinary colleagues
Skilled in organization, time management, and creative problem-solving
Technologically adept, with aptitude for new platforms, digital documentation, and basic troubleshooting
Role Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in a public school setting
Implement IEP goals and document student progress effectively
Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and families to optimize student outcomes
Maintain accurate records, assessments, and reports
Participate in training and utilize provided assessment and evaluation resources
