Job description
Make an impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students near Yadkinville, NC. Desired Experience and Skills:
Current or eligible North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged
Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology, including articulation, fluency, and language disorders
Experience providing SLP services in a school or teletherapy setting is highly valued
Familiarity with IEP development, progress documentation, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to both in-person and virtual environments
What You'll Do: Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to K-12 students, helping them achieve their educational and communication goals
Conduct assessments and re-evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
Provide evidence-based treatment sessions tailored to each child's unique needs, utilizing both on-site and teletherapy platforms as needed
Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in communication and language development
Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
