Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary outpatient private practice in need of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist . We are a growing and fast‑paced campus that offers Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services in a traditional clinical setting, as well as on our ranch, with the incorporation of the horse as part of a comprehensive evidence‑based plan (hippotherapy.) We highly encourage collaboration between all three disciplines, to help our children reach their full potential.

SLP Job Duties include:

Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.

Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan and effective use of therapeutic devices and strategies.

Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.

Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, according to the law.

Maintain patient confidence and protects clinic operations by keeping information confidential, according to the law.

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Develop speech therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in‑service training programs.

Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Participate effectively as a member of the IEP team, but providing these services as part of a comprehensive education plan and in accordance with the written IEP, as needed.

Compensation Range Based On Experience: $89,440 - $118,560
