Utilize your expertise in pediatric speech therapy and school-based interventions, while also expanding your leadership skills through the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). What We're Looking For:
Active Texas SLP license.
Clinical experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations.
SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP with a background in educational environments.
Confidence supervising and mentoring an SLPA.
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services within a school-based setting to meet students individualized education plans (IEPs).
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress to foster communication skills.
Supervise, support, and guide the assigned SLPA, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings with faculty and families.
Educate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote generalization of skills across environments.
