Pediatrician (MD/DO)Compensation: $231,000 – $300,000 annually (based on experience) Relocation assistance available Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)We are seeking a full-time Pediatrician to provide comprehensive primary care services to children and adolescents (birth through age 19) in a community health center setting. This role offers the opportunity to serve a diverse, underserved population while working within a collaborative, mission-driven team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive pediatric care, including well-child visits, acute care, and chronic disease managementPerform thorough histories and physical exams, develop differential diagnoses, and implement treatment plansOrder and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnosticsPrescribe medications and manage age-appropriate therapiesProvide developmental, behavioral, and preventive care servicesDeliver culturally competent patient and family educationCoordinate specialty referrals and consultations as neededMaintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality careReview and respond to clinical messages, labs, and reports in a timely mannerComplete accurate, timely documentation and billing in the electronic health recordParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical educationQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or FMG with ECFMG certification)Board Certified or Board Eligible in PediatricsMust have 2+ years of post residency experience; no new grads.Experience managing pediatric preventive care, acute and chronic conditions, and developmental/behavioral concernsFamiliarity with clinical quality measures (HRSA core measures, HEDIS, PCMH) preferredActive, unrestricted California medical licenseCommunity health center or FQHC experience preferredComfortable treating three patients per hourEPIC experienceIn-basket management competencyBilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance (multiple PPO plan options available)403(b) retirement plan with up to 4% employer match and immediate vestingUp to 4 weeks of PTO in first year (based on hours worked)7 paid holidays + 1 floating holidayEmployer-paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Flexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care)Malpractice and tail coverage provided at no costAnnual CME reimbursement (including licensing/certifications) plus up to 1 week of paid CME timeTuition reimbursement
