Job description
Position Summary
WVU Medicine – Summersville Regional Medical Center seeks a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join a hospital-employed practice in Summersville, West Virginia.
Duties
Successfully monitor and document the health and development of children, diagnosing and treating common ailments and minor injuries and referring to specialists for appropriate care.
Qualifications
Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
Must have completed an accredited residency in General Pediatrics.
Must be board certified or eligible in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
Practice Opportunity Details
Summersville Regional Medical Center is a critical access hospital. The pediatrician will practice in a traditional clinic and inpatient model.
