Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old patient who relies on skilled nursing support. Affr... is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for a pediatric patient in Allendale, NJ with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor , requiring G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist treatments, and mobility support in the home and school settings.

Available Shifts
Coverage Needed:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Case
11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to brain tumor
G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
Suctioning support throughout the day at home and school
Cough assist treatments
Wheelchair dependent
Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
Consistent schedule with a supportive family
What You'll Do
Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
Manage and monitor G-tube feedings
Perform suctioning and respiratory support interventions
Administer cough assist treatments as ordered
Assess and monitor respiratory status and overall condition
Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
Collaborate with the family, school staff, and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care
Pay Rate
LPN: $40/hr
What You Bring
Active New Jersey LPN License
Experience with G-tubes, suctioning, airway management, and medically complex pediatric patients preferred
Current BLS Certification
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license preferred
Physical exam within 12 months
PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
