Job description

Pediatric Nurse Opportunity

Looking for a nursing career where you can love what you do and still have time for your life?

At Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem, we believe that taking great care of our patients starts with taking great care of our team. We're looking for a compassionate, energetic Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys building relationships with children and families and wants to work in supportive, collaborative outpatient pediatric practice.

Whether you're an experienced pediatric nurse or are looking to transition from a hospital setting, you'll join a team that values teamwork, kindness, and work-life balance.

Why You'll Love Working Here

More time for what matters most: Enjoy a predictable 4-day work week with only one late evening each week and every 5th weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM).

Skip the Boston commute! Join a thriving pediatric practice on the North Shore and enjoy a shorter commute, free parking, and a better work-life balance.

No overnight shifts. No inpatient care.

Work alongside experienced pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and an exceptional clinical team

Build lasting relationships with children and their families while making a difference every day.

Supportive leadership that values your voice and invests in your success.

What You'll Do

As an RN, you'll serve as a clinical leader within the care team, partnering with providers to deliver outstanding pediatric care while ensuring a positive experience for every family.

Your responsibilities include:

Assessing the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of pediatric patients.

Providing telephone and in-office triage for acute illnesses and injuries.

Administering immunizations, medications, and other clinical treatments.

Performing in-office procedures, including blood draws, specimen collection, and catheterization.

Educating families about diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Coordinating care following emergency room visits and hospital discharges.

Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and front office staff to provide seamless patient care.

Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Supporting quality improvement initiatives and maintaining current pediatric clinical knowledge.
