Harker Heights, Texas - Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity
Clinical Role:
Seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Permanent job opening
Must have completed formal pediatric-focused Nurse Practitioner training
Must have at least 1 year of post-training experience working with pediatric patients
Must be passionate about working with underserved pediatric populations and improving access to high-quality healthcare
Patient census: approximately 14-16 patients per day
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including well-child visits, sick visits, preventative care, developmental screenings, immunizations, and management of common acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
Must have a current, valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas or be eligible to obtain one
Must hold appropriate pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Must possess strong computer/technology skills to efficiently document using the EMR system, conduct telemedicine visits when applicable, and communicate virtually with colleagues
