Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Northern Medical Group in our Mahopac and Brewster offices. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality healthcare to children, ensuring their well-being and development aligns with our mission to provide comprehensive medical services.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments for pediatric patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education and support to families regarding health management.
Administer vaccinations and perform routine procedures as needed.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Master s degree in Nursing with specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP).
Valid state nursing license.
Master's Degree from Accredited PA Program
Significant patient care experience
Valid state license
Experience working with children in a clinical setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of pediatric health issues and treatments.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably ECW.
