A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center in Yakima, Washington , is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative outpatient care team.
This full-time opportunity offers a highly competitive salary of $141,000 $155,000 , along with $50,000 in student loan repayment assistance, a $15,000 sign-on bonus and up to $20,000 in relocation assistance .
The incoming provider will deliver comprehensive pediatric primary care within a team-based Patient-Centered Medical Home. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician or a new graduate who is passionate about community health and improving access to care for underserved children and families.

ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric patients
Conduct age-appropriate histories, physical examinations and clinical assessments
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Provide preventive care, health screenings and routine wellness services
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Educate parents and caregivers regarding treatment, prevention and ongoing care
Order and interpret laboratory studies and other diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications within the provider s authorized scope of practice
Coordinate referrals to specialists and community-based services
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, Medical Assistants and care coordinators
Address medical, behavioral and social factors affecting children and families
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Epic
Participate in population-health and quality-improvement initiatives
Support the organization s mission of improving healthcare access for underserved communities

Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desirable. However, dedicated bilingual Medical Assistants are available to provide patient support and translation services.

QualificationsMaster of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice or another qualifying graduate Nurse Practitioner degree
Current national Nurse Practitioner certification
Active or eligible Washington State ARNP license
Certification and clinical preparation appropriate for pediatric primary care
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care
Interest in serving diverse, underserved and vulnerable communities
Experience with Epic or another Electronic Health Record system is preferred
Practice Environment
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will work within a team-based Patient-Centered Medical Home serving children and families throughout the Yakima community.
The organization serves a significant Latino and migrant farmworker population and is committed to delivering culturally responsive, accessible healthcare. Providers are supported by dedicated bilingual Medical Assistants who assist with patient care and language access.
The Monday Friday schedule includes six hours of protected administrative time each week , allowing providers to complete documentation, coordinate care and manage clinical responsibilities outside scheduled patient visits.
Compensation and Financial Incentives
The base salary range is $141,000 $155,000 annually , with additional earning potential through productivity and patient-satisfaction incentives.
