Palm Health Resources Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity Dayton, Ohio Easy Access via Dayton Intl Airport + 1 Hour to Columbus & Cincinnati
Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting a Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a high-acuity, hospital-based opportunity in Dayton, OH . Assignment Overview Start: August 2026
Duration: 3 months (through mid-November) with potential to extend
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00a3:30p
Call: None
Setting: Hospital-based OR
Volume: 5060 cases/day across the department
Clinical Scope Full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia (neonatal adolescent, with some adult exposure)
Broad case mix includes:General pediatric surgery
Complex orthopedics
Neurosurgery
Thoracic (non-cardiac)
Mix of:Hands-on cases
Supervising CRNAs in a care team model
Excludes cardiac and transplant cases
Ideal for anesthesiologists seeking high-acuity pediatric cases with structured hours and no call burden
Practice Environment Level I pediatric trauma setting
14 ORs with strong case volume
Large, collegial anesthesia team
Excellent OR support (RNs, techs, APPs)
Efficient, high-functioning surgical environment
Requirements Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Comfortable with:Neonatal + pediatric cases
Complex surgical environments
Care team supervision
