n Atrium Health Levine Children’s (AHLC) is looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their Pediatric Neurology team. The PNP, FNP, or PA-C will assist the team in providing care for children while under the supervision of and in collaboration with a licensed physician.n
n This is a hybrid role encompassing both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.n
n This role requires a minimum of two years of experience as an APP working in either Pediatrics or in Neurology.n
n This position may be offered full-time or part-time.n
n Essential Functions:n
n · Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and recurring assessments as needed.n
n · Records findings of examinations, assessments, and plans of care.n
n · Writes appropriate prescriptions, orders and interprets laboratory and radiology examinations, and determines treatment plan for patients.n
n · Documents all patient encounters, observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner in the patient's medical record.n
n · Attends, participates, and contributes to group/practice meetings and development of policies and procedures when requested.n
n · This is a hybrid position. APP will work in both the Concord clinic and Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital in Concord, NC.n
n · No weekends.n
n · No call.n
n · Primary site: Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital and Concord Pediatric Neurology Clinicn
n Education, Experience and Certifications:n
n · Minimum of 2 years of experience as an APP working in either pediatrics or neurology.n
n · Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina.n
n · Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.n
n · Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice required (NP Applicants).n
n · Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required (PA Applicants).n
n · Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred (PA Applicants)n
