Job description
Peer Recovery Specialist CCBHC (Part Time)
Community Care Alliance is proud to offer an array of services supporting individuals who are homeless/unstably housed and coping with mental health and substance use challenges. Many of these services are part of Serenity, a peer-run recovery center, supporting individuals in all stages of recovery. We are searching for a Peer Recovery Specialist to support this team. Requirements:
* Must be certified or willing to work towards certification.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrate an understanding of mental health and substance use issues.
* Able to develop treatment plans and use an EHR.
Responsibilities:
* Support clients to build recovery capital, individually and in groups.
* Create opportunities to engage in substance-free social activities.
* Connect clients to Detox and higher levels of care.
