Job DescriptionThe facility is expanding its team to manage ongoing growth and is seeking BC/BE physicians interested in both clinical excellence and academic involvement.
\ NRole Overview:
\ N Setting: High-volume pediatric ED with over 35,000 annual visits.
\ N Staffing Model: Strong coverage with 40 physician hours and additional APP support daily.
\ N
Academics: Opportunities for academic appointments with a local medical school. The hospital supports an accredited Pediatric residency and PEM fellowship program.
\ N
Facility: Part of a large, state-of-the-art health campus with a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties.
\ N Requirements:
\ N MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
\ N BC/BE in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
\ N Valid state medical license and DEA.
\ N Compensation & Benefits:
\ N
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
\ N Incentives: Annual compensation tied to clinical activity, academic accomplishments, and quality improvement.
\ N Relocation: Standard $15,000 package.
\ N Sign-on Bonus: To be determined.
\ N Additional: Comprehensive health/dental/vision, mortgage assistance, 403B with employer match, 457 plans, and CME allowance.
\ N Tax & Loan Benefits: No state income tax in Florida;
