Job description
Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in California seeks a Per Diem physician to oversee medical services at our treatment sites. You may consult outside physicians, refer as needed, and act as a liaison between nursing and medical staff while in treatment.
The role includes on-call duties with the medical team, supervising Nurse Practitioners and allied health professionals, performing admission histories and exams, prescribing medications, ordering labs, and ensuring a safe environment for patients
