About This Role
The Per Diem Ambulatory Care Nurse at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination and implementation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a nurse who is committed to providing comprehensive patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams.

What You'll Do
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests
Collect patient health history
Record information in electronic health record
Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans
Administer medications and provide comprehensive wound care
Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments and procedures
Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans
Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants
Participate in coordination of on-site activities to provide patient care
Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (if hired after 9/1/25)
Experience
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in applicable area
Licenses & Certifications
Current Registered Professional Nurse License in New York
Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
