Job description
A per diem opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential coverage at a well-established outpatient pharmacy located in a densely populated Hasidic Jewish neighborhood. This role accommodates flexible availability, focusing on weekend shifts that allow you to maintain a balanced schedule while delivering quality pharmaceutical care.
Schedule:
Saturday 5/16: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Saturday 5/23: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Saturday 5/30: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Perform typical outpatient and retail pharmacy duties including accurate filling and dispensing of prescriptions
Conduct patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use
Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
Administer immunizations, requiring valid New York State immunization privilege
Open and close the pharmacy in adherence to operational standards
Desired Experience and Skills: Proven retail pharmacy experience, specifically with opening and closing responsibilities
Familiarity with Rx30 software is strongly preferred but not mandatory
Ability to work effectively in a dependable and patient-focused manner
Commitment to providing culturally competent care in a unique neighborhood setting
Additional Details: Newer pharmacy with a manageable prescription volume, ensuring a balanced workload
Dedicated pharmacy technician support to assist daily operations
