About This Role
The Per Diem Nursing Administrator is a registered professional nurse with progressive administrative experience, supporting Nurse Managers and senior nursing leadership in managing clinical units and patient care services during assigned shifts.

What You'll Do
Lead nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care.
Demonstrate proficiency in Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR) and role model expected behaviors.
Ensure integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care.
Validate staff members round hourly on all patients by direct observation and patient feedback.
Assess staff competency in PHR and provide consistent meaningful feedback.
Communicate quantitative and qualitative information regarding patient experience and staff engagement.
Collaborate with the physician dyad and escalated concerns as appropriate.
Follow up on all patient concerns in a timely manner and provide service recovery as needed.
Design, support, and lead a safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient-centered care environment.
Support implementation of the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of the department.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's in nursing or healthcare-related field preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years minimum clinical nursing experience with some Charge Nurse/supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
BLS via American Heart Association required.
