Per Diem/ On Call CNABrightStar Care of St. Paul is looking for a reliable and compassionate on call caregiver to assist clients in their homes, as we grow our clientele in the Duluth area. This role offers around 10 hours per week with the opportunity for more hours in the future. This position is ideal for someone interested in adding to their current schedule or gradually returning to care giving. Responsibilities may include helping with daily routines, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and offering companionship. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.Role Responsibilities:Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs.Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.Requirements:A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license with Auto Insurance.Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.If you have a heart for service and a desire to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
