Job description
Role:
PCU Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities Include
Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
Collaborating with physicians and care teams
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
Following infection-control and patient-safety protocols
Educating patients and families about care and discharge
Adapting to various hospital units and environments
Qualifications And Skills
Active Virginia RN License
At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Additional credentials may be required based on facility
