Position
PeaceHealth is looking for a per diem Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in Bellingham, WA.
Qualifications
Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO
At least 2 years of post‑training experience that includes hospital work
Scope of Care / Responsibilities
In‑house 24/7 coverage for Whatcom County’s only community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma)
Care for the Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support
Coverage will include 12‑hour day shifts, 12‑hour night shifts, 9‑hour day shifts, and additional daytime shifts as the program grows
Work within a collegial, supportive team focused on high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine
Utilize the EPIC EMR system
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $132.71 per hour
Fully paid malpractice insurance
