Job description
An independent community pharmacy in Asheville is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide high-quality retail pharmacy services. This per diem opportunity offers a consistent schedule with guaranteed shifts, providing excellent work-life balance and a pathway to a permanent role.
Location:
Asheville, NC
Schedule: Two shifts per week guaranteed
Fixed shift every Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
One additional weekday shift (Monday-Thursday) scheduled by mutual agreement and maintained consistently
Day shifts
Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Manage inventory and oversee daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid North Carolina Pharmacist License
Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to build rapport with patients and staff in a community setting
