Job description
This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a per diem role in an independent community retail pharmacy. Located in Asheville, NC, this position offers a consistent schedule with flexibility, working 1-2 days per week including every Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive retail pharmacist services including dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
Manage inventory and pharmacy operations during shifts
Qualifications and Experience: Active North Carolina pharmacist license
Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in patient interactions
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule and Setting: Position based in Asheville, NC
Dayshift hours, 1-2 days per week with one guaranteed day every Friday
