Job description
A retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist with experience in retail settings and familiarity with the DRX computer system. The position involves working at a newly opened location with very low prescription volume, allowing for focused, quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Location:
Bensalem, PA
Schedule/Hours: Days: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Specific dates: July 27, 30, and 31
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling
Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications
Utilize the DRX computer system for prescription processing and record keeping
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and safe pharmacy operations
Provide exceptional customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
Qualifications / Desired Experience: Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
Retail pharmacy experience necessary
Proficiency with DRX computer system preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers
