Job description
Provide expert retail pharmacy services as a pharmacist covering a location in Bronx, NY, from August 3rd to August 20th. This per diem role requires a dedicated professional to ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while delivering excellent patient care under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Counsel and advise patients on medication usage and appropriate regimens.
Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate stock records, including controlled drugs and inventories.
Resolve patient issues, including clarifying third-party insurance coverage.
Qualifications and Experience: Active and clear pharmacist license for the state of New York.
Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
