Job description
A healthcare facility in Brunswick, GA is seeking a qualified Pharmacist for a Per Diem opportunity. This role offers the chance to support patient care by ensuring accurate dispensing of medications and providing valuable information to patients on drug use. Schedule:
Various shifts primarily 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours)
Some shifts 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (8 hours)
Specific dates from October through December 2026
Key Responsibilities: Accurately distribute prescription medications as ordered by physicians and other healthcare providers
Educate patients and healthcare staff regarding proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards
Provide attentive and professional customer service to patients and facility staff
Desired Qualifications: Active Georgia Pharmacist license
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
