Job description
Provide expert pharmacy care as a Pharmacist supporting retail operations in the Washington, Pennsylvania area. This per diem role offers the opportunity to practice your skills under the guidance of a manager, ensuring patients receive safe and effective medication therapy.
Schedule & Location:
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Canonsburg, PA (serving Washington, PA)
Start Date: August 7th
Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Counsel and advise patients on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence.
Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, following established policies.
Maintain accurate stock records and controlled substance inventories.
Resolve patient issues related to medications and assist with clarifying third-party insurance coverage.
Qualifications: Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
Proficiency with Pioneer software is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
