Job description
This per diem role as a Pharmacist offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver expert pharmaceutical care and outstanding customer service in a dynamic healthcare setting. Located in Punta Gorda, FL, this position provides flexible scheduling throughout May 2026, with shifts typically running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Schedule Highlights:
Various shifts available through May 2026, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
Educate customers on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements
Maintain a high standard of customer service to promote patient well-being and satisfaction
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care and safety
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid Florida Pharmacist license is required
Previous experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is highly preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach to service
Ability to work independently while adhering to regulatory and safety standards
