Job description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist with experience in retail or specialty HIV/AIDS medication dispensing. This per diem position offers a meaningful role supporting a sensitive patient population, providing compassionate care in a respectful and empathetic environment.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
No weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities: Dispense HIV/AIDS medications with accuracy and adherence to protocols
Build trust and maintain a non-judgmental, respectful relationship with patients living with infectious diseases
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by anticipating and addressing workflow needs proactively
Work collaboratively within a team to foster a positive and supportive environment
Maintain punctuality and reliability, ensuring consistent daily presence
Qualifications and Desired Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy focusing on HIV/AIDS medication dispensing
Sensitive and empathetic approach to caring for the HIV/AIDS patient population
Proficiency and comfort with QS1 pharmacy software
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and team members
Demonstrated high level of patient care and commitment to confidentiality
