Job description
A pharmacy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide ongoing PTO coverage on an as-needed basis. This PRN position offers flexible, professional engagement with the first opportunity for coverage beginning August 8, 2026. The scheduled shift runs from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, providing light patient counseling-primarily focused on blood pressure medications-and supporting safe, efficient pharmacy operations throughout the shift. The role requires attention to detail and effective communication to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
Active pharmacist license in North Carolina, in good standing
Experience verifying and dispensing prescriptions accurately
Comfortable counseling patients specifically on blood pressure medications
Dependable and professional with availability for ongoing PRN coverage
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, PRN/Ongoing PTO coverage
