Job description
A pharmacist position is available in Portland, OR, offering a per diem opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role is essential in ensuring the safe distribution of medications and providing expert guidance to patients and healthcare providers.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8.5 hours/day)
Total of 42.5 hours for the workweek
Key Responsibilities: Distribute prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
Offer detailed information and counseling to patients regarding medication use and safety
Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active Oregon Pharmacist License
Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and medication management
Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
