Job description
Seeking an experienced Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a specialty pharmacy setting. This per diem opportunity is based in Milaca, MN, offering a mix of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties. The role requires dedication to accuracy, patient safety, and effective medication management to support both community and long-term care patients.
Schedule:
August 26: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
August 27: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
August 28: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
September 1: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive pharmaceutical care including dispensing, reviewing, and monitoring medications in retail and long-term care settings.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapies.
Conduct patient counseling to ensure understanding of medication use.
Manage documentation and regulatory compliance for pharmacy operations.
Administer immunizations if certified.
Support medication therapy management and improve patient outcomes in long-term care facilities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: PharmD degree or equivalent with MTM certification preferred.
Current Immunization Certification.
CPR Certification.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail.
Location: Milaca, MN (with some duties related to Big Lake, MN)
