Job description
A pharmacy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide ongoing PRN PTO coverage starting August 8, 2026. This role offers an 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM daytime shift with a flexible schedule based on coverage needs. Ideal candidates are dependable professionals who can support pharmacy operations efficiently while providing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately for safety and appropriateness
Provide patient counseling focused on blood pressure medications
Maintain smooth pharmacy workflow during assigned shifts
Support pharmacy staff with timely and professional service
Qualifications: Active pharmacist license in North Carolina in good standing
Proven experience in prescription verification and dispensing
Comfortable and knowledgeable in counseling patients on blood pressure medications
Reliable and committed to ongoing PRN coverage availability
