Job description
This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking to provide expert care in a retail and long-term care pharmacy setting. The position requires verifying a high volume of prescriptions daily and administering immunizations, supported by ample pharmacy technicians and register staff to ensure smooth operations.
Schedule:
June 13: 7:45 AM - 6:15 PM
June 18: 2:00 PM - 7:15 PM
June 19: 2:00 PM - 7:15 PM
Key Responsibilities: Accurately verify 150-200 prescriptions per day
Administer immunizations in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support team to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain thorough documentation and follow established pharmacy protocols
Qualifications and Experience: Active and clear Texas Pharmacist License required
Valid immunization certification required
Prior experience working in retail pharmacy settings
Proficient with Computer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems
Location: Garland, Texas
