Job description
This per diem pharmacist position offers an opportunity to work in a long-term care (LTC) mail order environment with a consistent day schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, continuing full-time through October 2026. The role involves performing the final review of medications prior to shipment, ensuring accuracy and safety for patients.

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities: Conduct the final review of all medications before shipment
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance and accurate dispensing
Maintain documentation and follow protocols within the LTC mail order setting
Utilize pharmacy software to support the review and verification process
Qualifications: Active Illinois pharmacy license required
Experience in long-term care (LTC) or retail pharmacy environments
Familiarity with Frameworks pharmacy software is a plus
