Job description
An opportunity is available for a Relief Pharmacist to provide essential coverage and support a pharmacy in New Paltz, NY. This temporary assignment is designed to assist during pharmacist recruitment and planned leaves, offering flexibility with 20-40 hours per week. The role focuses on maintaining smooth daily operations and ensuring patient care standards are upheld.

No weekend coverage
Assignment Dates: Approximately July 15 - August 21
Key Responsibilities: Provide pharmacist coverage and support daily pharmacy operations
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and patient safety
Assist in maintaining pharmacy workflow and patient care quality
Support specialty pharmacy processes as required
Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
Desired Qualifications: Active New York Pharmacist license in good standing
Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred
Strong pharmacy knowledge with keen attention to detail
Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to different workflows
Professionalism, reliability, and comfort working in a low-volume environment
