Job description
A healthcare facility in Newport, OR is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services on a per diem basis. This opportunity offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 45 hours per week, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately distribute prescription medications as prescribed by physicians and other authorized health practitioners.
Provide clear and thorough information to patients and customers regarding medication use, potential side effects, and safe handling.
Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients and promote medication adherence.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Oregon Pharmacist license is required.
Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills and dedication to patient care.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts)
