Job description
A pharmacy seeking a licensed Pharmacist is looking for a reliable professional to work per diem hours in Charleston, WV. This position involves dispensing medications, offering expert guidance on drug use, and ensuring excellent customer service within a busy pharmacy setting.
Location: Charleston, WV
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
Starting October 26, 2026, through November 6, 2026
Total hours: 90
Key Responsibilities: Accurately distribute prescribed medications to patients
Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
Maintain a strong customer service focus to support patient care
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care
Desired Qualifications: Valid West Virginia pharmacist license
Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
