Job description
This per diem Pharmacist opportunity offers a chance to contribute expert pharmaceutical care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves the accurate distribution of medications prescribed by healthcare providers and delivering essential medication information to customers. Providing exceptional customer service is a key priority, ensuring patients feel supported and informed.
Location:
Brunswick, GA
Schedule Highlights: Various shifts from October through December
Primarily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts) with some 8-hour shifts later in December
Specific dates include weekdays, providing flexibility for per diem availability
Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions from physicians and other authorized health practitioners
Counsel patients on proper use, potential side effects, and storage of medications
Maintain a high standard of customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns effectively
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
Desired Qualifications: Valid Georgia Pharmacist license
Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage workflow efficiently
