Med Ninjas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a per diem / prn job in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

The NP must be available for the complete coverage block from October 23, 2026 to November 2, 2026
This assignment includes Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, cardiothoracic surgery, and on call weekend.
Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiothoracic Surgery
Shift: 24-hour call, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Coverage blocks: 10/23 5 PM–10/26 7 AM and 10/30 5 PM–11/2 7 AM.
Start Date: 10/23/2026
End Date: 11/02/2026
Position Details: Cardiac Surgery coverage with approximately 3 weekends per month; 24-hour call; average callback including rounding approximately 4 hours per day.
Patient Population: Adults age 18+
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Inpatient
Responsibilities: Provide cardiac surgery coverage, rounding, urgent surgery support, consults from the Cath Lab, and management of patients from ICU through discharge. Surgeon available for backup after consult.
Required Procedures: Vein harvesting; urgent cardiothoracic surgical support.
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: APP support; surgeon backup.
Days Per Month: Approximately 3 weekends per month.
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call; weekend coverage required.

PA license required
DEA required
Active PA license or IMLC/LOQ in hand
