Med Ninjas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Endocrinology for a per diem / prn job in Rochester, New York.

The Nurse Practitioner must be available for the complete coverage block from 11/02/2026 ongoing
This assignment includes outpatient clinic, diabetes care, established patient care, potential float coverage 1-2 days a week, and no on call or weekends.
Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Endocrinology
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8-9 hours
Start Date: 11/02/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
Patient Population: All outpatient care; low-moderate acuity; majority diabetes care
Setting: Out-Patient Clinic
Responsibilities: Diabetes care, outpatient patient care, CGM analysis, insulin pump management, and potential float coverage 1-2 days a week
Required Procedures: No other procedures; CGM analysis and/or insulin pump management ideal but not absolutely necessary
EMR System: Epic with AI ambient scribe
Support Staff: 5 Providers, 3 NPs, 3 RNs, 2 LPNs, 6 CNAs/CMAs, 4 Other staff
Days Per Month: Monday - Friday; full-time preferred, interested in 2-3 weeks per month
On-Call/Weekends: No Call / No Weekends
Required Procedures and Skills
Majority of work is diabetes care
CGM analysis experience ideal
Insulin pump management experience ideal
Epic experience required
No other procedures performed
Requirements
NY State License in Hand
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Must be Board Certified
AHA or RQI certifications
Epic experience required
