Med Ninjas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology for a per diem / prn job in Potsdam, New York.

Full-time
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:00 PM
No call
No floating required
Patient Volume & Setting
Adult patients, including acutely ill patients with a wide variety of medical problems
Patient ratio: 1:14–18
Unit staffing includes 1 provider, 1 NP, and 1 LPN
Anesthesia available in each procedure area
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients in the Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine setting
Diagnose and manage medical conditions
Provide patient/family education
Prescribe and monitor medications
Order and monitor appropriate interventions
Document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, referrals, and consultations
Refer complex or high-priority cases to collaborating physicians
Provide appropriate medical and emergency interventions
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
NY State License in hand
AHA BLS or RQI certification
Minimum 3 years of recent experience
Recent Epic experience
Board Certified
