This assignment includes outpatient Gastroenterology clinic, acute care hospital coverage, adult gastroenterology patient care, and no on call or weekend.

Position Details:
Full-time Gastroenterology APP; 30-minute visits; patient ratio 1:14-18; 12-16 patients per shift; scheduled coverage with no call
Patient Population:
Adults acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems
Setting:
Acute Care Hospital / Gastroenterology practice setting
Responsibilities:
Evaluate medical problems; provide patient/family education; document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments and outcomes; prescribe and monitor medications; refer complex cases to collaborating physicians; provide medical and emergency interventions as appropriate
