We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: ICU Registered Nurse in Lakewood, CA.
Requirements
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI
Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Acute Kidney Injury, Arterial line management, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Emergency Medications, External ventricular drain (EVD), Fresh tracheostomy, GI surgery, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Infection Prevention, INR, Intake and Output monitoring, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Liver failure, Lumbar drains, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of high-output drains, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Monitoring for abdominal compartment syndrome, Delayed graft function recognition & management, Fibrinogen, Massive transfusion protocol, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Post Craniotomy, Post Neurosurgery management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, PT/PTT, Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Recognition of infection in immunosuppressed patients, Respiratory failure, Shunts/Fistula Care, Spinal cord injury, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, TPN/Lipids, Traumatic Brain injury, Urine output assessment, Ventilator Management
