We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: NICU Registered Nurse in New Brunswick, NJ.
Requirements
Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
Required Skills: Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Arterial line management, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Developmental Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes, Meconium Aspiration, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonates > 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU III, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Administration of blood & blood products, Respiratory distress syndrome, Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Steroids, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surfactants, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), Thermoregulation, UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Vapotherm
